UO Second Age

it's been about 8 years since i've played uo. i've been bored lately so i decided to look for a shard and play some uo for old times sake. second age seems good so far!

is there anyway i can get the old uo music to play in game?

If you have the correct client version--i.e. the download and patch available from the mainpage -- it should work fine. Mine does.

Stat cap-225
Skill cap-700

However, if you have Vista, you may have problems with crashes when the music is enabled.

im not sure how much as changed over the past 8 years with these new clients and all...but i was just wondering about the old school music like britain's theme, etc...i'm hearing something totally different when i'm in britain right now. is there anyway to change that back?

If you follow the download instructions on this site you should get old school music.

also with the 275 stat cap -- does that mean 75/75/75? or can i have uneven stats like 100 in one stat?

its 225 in stats and 700 in skill

Woops sorry for my dumb math

But does that mean each stat is capped at 75? or can one stat gain more than another?

you can have one stat higher than the other

100 str
25 int
100 dex

etc

Is there a way around the music crash? The music is what drew me back to UO

Do you know if there's some sort of selling rule here? As I sell more of an item to a vendor does the price of my item sell for less?
