I know these might be some surprising poll questions.
We are trying to get to the bottom of the reported server desynchs, especially when trying to move while casting.

I have not been able to reproduce the problem, and am trying to narrow down the cause.

Examples of a third party program are programs like Adrenaline which manage and filter packets.
Third party programs other than Razor would not include non-intrusive programs such as UOAM.

I only use razor newest version and client 5.0.8.3

I have had de-sinq issues since I started on the server a year ago now. I havent' noticed any increase to de-sinqs.

Im very very supprised youve never been able to reproduce it derrick.

I think I remember de-synching about once or twice in the past month, but really no more often than I ever have before.

I've been able to reproduce desynch but not the substantial and predictable increase in desynchs that are being reported. The explained behavior was that this was very easy to have happen when trying to run while casting, and that players were seeing themselves continue to move while casting.

Desynchs are expected time to time, but some players have noted a substantial increase. This has been most substantially noted in this thread: Subject: Sync issues?

I've had to Re-Sync maybe once but thats only when I recall to the $$$ Rune library, I think it has to do with my scavanger agent and auto-door opening firing off at the same time( haven't really tested to confirm). But nothing beyond that.

I haven't see an increase, but it happens to me a lot. When I recall into a dungeon, I immediately start to cast ebolt while holding down my mouse to run. I end up having to re-synch which usually doesn't help ( I think I set it up wrong) so I just teleport once and it fixes itself.

I have had alot of phantom creatures after they move either via gate or just walking sometimes. The animation is there visually its just they are not physically.

Also sometimes I get sticky skills, mostly in repetitive skills that even after I cancel them out they remain quasi active with no effect rendering me unable to use other skills until I relog.

it doesn't happen very often and is a recent problem, but i'll need to resynch like 10times and i'll still be stuck. Or i'll do it and i'll just skip forward a tile and still be stuck....

Well today it happened a total of, I think 3 or 4 times, but to my guildies, not me, it hasn't really been happening to me at all

I have noticed many many more desynch to be honest.

For those of you seeing alot of desyncs... when is it happening?

I dont see that many. When i do see them it is usually...

1. As hardcore said, recalling/gating in, bringing up a ebolt while running in a direction.
2. Messing on stools up and down the z-axis of my keep roofs. I was desyncing alot doing that.

Out PvP'n i desycn about once a night if that.

Are there things you notice that make you desync more? Specifics?

happened to me 3 times last night as I moving keep to keep.

Highly agitating when your moving a ton of crap, but it doesnt happen that frquently, and the shard is free so no complaints about it happening now and then.

I desynch multiple times per day. I hear lots of pvpers complain about it. I use razor v1 0.12 and I don't know how far I am patched. I've never had desynch issues like I have here. Sometimes I desynch multiple times in a row and get stuck. I am not trying to complain, but be helpful I think everything other than that is wonderful.

i've played on multiple free servers with no other third party programs other than razor and i've never had the client desync as much as it does here. it happens to me at least 3-4 times a day. nothing that a resync macro doesnt deal with though.

All, WHEN ARE YOU DEYNCHING?

all these posts saying how you desynch here and never on any other free shards does nothing for the staff to fix the problem.

If you are really desynching multiple times per day, and want it to stop, start paying attention to how/when and report it. Thats probably the only way they will figure out what is happening here. IMHO
