Medi Mage

Mana drains faster then stamina as we all know. Most Tank Mages are slow(aside from insta hit) and hit real hard, we know that too. So I want to find a middle ground where I dont have to rely on insta hit but still have the power of a pure mage. I was thinking of this temp.
Macing
Tactics
Evaluating Intelligence
Magery
Resist
Meditation
Wrestling
Sounds pretty basic right? But I am going to put my stats at 100 50 75, and carry a quarter staff so I dont have to insta hit nor worry about people spamming attack last.
Is this a rounded character?

This is the exact same template as a tank-mage except you are leaning on more dex than mana..

I know its the basic temp.
But casting seems to be more oppurtunistic then it is full offense except for lower circle. I was wondering if anyone has this sort of temp with the stats set like this...and if not why?
Is passive meditation that hindered with weapon in hand?

Might as well just make an eval dexxer, precast FS, dex away and then release. The end.

You will do well against other mages.. Dexers however will be very tough for that template.
Honestly without the UOR changes to Str and hit points its hard to make a viable hybrid.
I think the best thing to do is:
Mage Med Resist Heal Anat Tact Mace.
100 40 80 with g agility potions.
If you die in a field fight to a mage you suck. With bandages pots and magery it near impossible to kill this template with a mage.
And against dexers slam a g agility pot and roll the dice. Only difference is you can drop well timed psn's on the dexer and try to snag his bandage.

I have something similar now, only difference it has wrestling instead of meditation as I am armoured and
I have 97 78 50 for stats...

I figured if he had a staff of lightning/greater heal he might as well have more dexterity...
