When you say "having a town the size of TB" do you mean houses, or add-ons? How are you judging the size?

That's what she said.Pro wrote:by how big it is...
Seems reasonable to me.If money is the #1 issue then you cant afford Town add-ons anyways....

If K^A really needs money then they will throw a tournament with 1k entry fee, and collect gold from their guildmates to help pay for the 100k 1st prize or whatever for a tourney.
If K^A can't come up with money to pay for a tournament they host, they will help them keep their ad-ons then clearly it's true what they say. K^A may very well be a guild in shambles, just a large guild chat with hardly a "true guild feel".

Honestly this whole system is taking time away from admins that they could spend on more important issues, and it's taking away from the accurate feel in-game.
Add-ons do not make the game more enjoyable to play for the average player.
I'd really like to see a list compiled of all well known custom add-on locations on OSI.
I'm sure its something like less than a dozen locations, spread across a dozen shards, over a period of years. Not just two years, either.

You don't need add-ons to put a rune library or vendor house together.
This thread should be about the state of the add-on system as a whole, because its broken.
If you delete most of the eye candy, might as well delete it all.Eulogy wrote:One simple solution: Delete them all. Well maybe not all, UoH and $$$ have earned their eye candy.

If we cant have it no one should!

Me and Dark Radiance run one of the most trafficked rune libs on the shard, do I deserve roads, a cotton field and a stable?
Delete it all, I don't care.BenBrawl wrote:If you delete most of the eye candy, might as well delete it all.Eulogy wrote:One simple solution: Delete them all. Well maybe not all, UoH and $$$ have earned their eye candy.

What is the function of eye candy?
Alright..IGM Talos: Player run establishments are a phenomena that I believe stand for many of the best qualities of Ultima Online. They bring people together in a unique manner, and a strong bond is formed between these people. The social dynamics of such places is fascinating, and the sense of community is for me part of the magic of UO. There will always be a future for player run establishments.
