at first i did not understand importance of the chainmail tunic so i decided to do some research. i found some very interesting things i would like to share.

Appearently the chainmail was first discovered by a french nobleman by the name of Edwige Cunegonde in 1078. The legend was he was strolling down by the forest by the river and saw something shiny in the water. He went to go pick it up and was then attacked by many wild hungry wolves. He put the chainmail on as he ran and fell in a ditch and blacked out. He awoke and all the wolves lay around him covered in blood. He then beileved the chainmail had special powers so then named it the chainmail tunic of defense. He then felt invincable as if he could not be defeated and carelessly signed up for the council of knights. His first fight was against a young lad of no more than 15 years of age that was born on a farm, hard working lad. Edwige Cunegonde of 43 years knew that he could not be bested as he gripped his blade hard as he could. He charged at the young lad and and got stabbed through the head by the young lad's sword. He fell to the ground confused that the chainmail did not protect him. After the tounament the chainmail was sold at the town market and was lost for many years....

Then in 1126 a european came across the chainmail tunic by the name of Sir Christian Luxumburg. Sir Christian was a nice man and was a gentleman. He grew up in his fathers book shop helping the family business of selling books and book stuff. He was a timid man and very shy and had a hard time with the ladies. Every lady he ever tried to court with a man by the name of Wrothgar Timmins would show up and swoop the lady off her feet, it was a small town you see. Wrothgar grew angry and wild over the years of this holy cock blocking and decided to go on a quest. He had come across a very old and dusted book that was buried deep in the book storage closet. It said in there about the tale of Edwige Cunegonde and the mystery of the chainmail tunic of defense. It was said to be last seen somewhere in the french lands near the border by the river of oogy forbue. He traveled long and hard and finally came to find it in the water of the river. He could not beileve his eyes. He wanted to test out the power of it. He focused all his meditation and tried to cast forth a magical spell.

A powerful wind blew forth and then a tree suddenly fell and he fell back in astonishment. He could not beileve his eyes. On the river of oogy forbue that day he now beileved to weird the power to defeat Wrothgar Timmins. He stormed into town shouting in the streets like a madmen. Appearently the chainmail tunic of defense causes madness in the users mind. He saw wrothgar timmins take this beautiful woman he had been wanting to court inside his little shack. He busted through the door and found them kissing on Wrothgar's bed. Sir Christian said.

"I have grown tired of your infidelities and I challenge you to a duel!"

Wrothgar stood up and laughed and picked up his sword and they walked to the middle of the street. Sir Christian's mother came out and started crying telling Sir Christian if he stopped the fight she would make him yummy bread. Sir Christian could not hear his mother because his head was filled with anger. The battle had begun and Wrothgar was swinging a giant collossal sword at Sir Christian, somehow sir christian avoided every one of them barely hanging on to his sword. He then threw his sword on the ground and then casted a spell.

Wrothgar then exploded and the whole town started screaming and crying. The beautiful woman was incredibly turned on by this and ran away with Sir Christian and they lived happily ever after... until three years later Sir Christian tried to cast the same spell on Wrothgar's younger brother and it made himself explode, and then the woman ran away with wrothgar's younger brother.

Over the many years the tunic had many stories of its mystical powers. It was never recorded in history or heard of again until the year of 2009 when a ultima online player by the name of Guerre de Mondel found it once again. He did his history and knew of its power and decided it was best to not wield it, for it would most certainly cause his death. In this realization Guerre de Mondel attempted to sell the cursed chainmail tunic of defense on the internet.
