Read thread before commenting. Dyne was given an opportunity to outbid Hardcore but declined. Also, as Hardcore stated, Dyne will be running the vendors here.
Please explain how Dyne was "weaseled" out of anything?

Concur. This is by far the weaseliest BS I have ever witnessed!
With the labyrinth of weasel tunnels dug under this deal, I'm surprised Magnicia beach hasn't collapsed into a sinkhole.

Just for the record, thanks Li Meiyang for the jokes... It worries me that no-one else gets it.

We totally scammed Dyne *high five* Casey!
So, renovation begins and vendors should be starting to pop up by the end of the week. I've been contacted by a few interested players. This thread won't contain anymore details you can follow the other thread as I update where we stand. Enjoy landlubbers!
Contact Dyne in my absense but I think he has things under control from his end!

I went down to Maginicia beach and talked to Hardcore the other day.
True, I didn't like all the back-dealing that went on, as it all resulted in cutting me out. But I also feel like I've meted out an appropriate level of karmic justice for that here already.
The new maginicia vendor market looks to be shaping up. I hope they give yew some real competition, and I likewise hope they put to practice my original idea of a *transparent* vendor market with price competition. This makes a lot of sense, because it's important to remember that consumers aren't stupid. So in order to retain their return business, there need be REAL benefit -and open feedback. I hope everyone is hearing this. I mean like a thread on this forum where *everything* is laid out and open to criticism by consumers.
Once the gouging starts, the buyers shop around elsewhere. And you're back to square one.
Yes, what I'm saying is there's more money to be made in *not* being greedy, secretive, and sleazy. How's that for irony?
So anyway, the new operation has my blessing. And this thread *was* a lot of fun, so whatever. I wish Hardcore, Dyne and associates the best of luck in their new endeavor. Cya round!

Ok, actually you make a damned good point here. In an effort to illustrate a principle, i badly exaggerated a ratio. Allow me to rephrase:
It's important to remember that about *half* of consumers aren't stupid.
But vendors mostly cater to the ones that are. That leaves you sucking hind teet on 50% of the market.

Fagincia is the gayest place in hell!
Whoops, sorry, I reverted for a second.
I meant to say: "I can't wait to shop there."
When I talked to Hardcore the other day he was pretty cool, until I told him I was Li Meiyang, but even then he remained cool, so he's cool.
To be honest I had a great time on this thread, so no hard feelings. Keyi ma?
