As a parent, I find the best advice comes from people who are not parents and likely are not loved/liked/acknowledged by their own.

For some states a verbal contract requires a neutral third-party witness that cannot be disputed by either party. For most states, verbal contracts are not honored. For inter-state and international contracts verbal agreements are not honored. In addition, all in-game items, wares, goods, etc. are the sole property of UOSA. Since no lease of said items has been agreed to, no other party may claim right to those items.

Considering you haven't even mentioned the Statute of Frauds I am certainly beyond a doubt that you are gravely mistaken with your idea that oral contracts simply don't exist in some states. If there is a dispute as to the content of an oral contract it will always come down to a question of fact that the court determines (if it gets that far) - the judge as decider of fact determines who is telling the truth and who is lying, and often this could be based on the statement of a neutral 3rd party.

Now, not that the USA is exactly the paragon of the legal world - far from it, more like the laughing stock - but I'm very interested to know which states have put a blanket rule of unenforceability on oral contracts - please let me know, and also whether the particular law is judge made law or legislation.

If I was BeatingU I would be arguing that my account is an entity in-and-of itself, and the account is sold something akin to how you sell a business - assets/bank accounts and all. This value can be greater if the account/business has a good reputation - this is called "goodwill".

The sum of gold in the bank could be seen as an asset of the account as a whole, and therefore it comes with the account as an entity in-and-of itself - therefore the value of the gold appreciates at the point of sale because it is sold for more gold due to the nature of the account.

It's too bad BeatingU has probably already tried to get by on some kind of nonsense argument which has no basis because it conflicts with what he said.
