My personal opinion on inducting someone into the Hall of Fame for this server ... Not only should it be a person that made a difference to the server for a long period of time, but they should have played here for a long period of time. I can't see someone going into the Hall of Fame that has only been around for the last year or less. If this is an on going provess of inducting people into the Hall of Fame, you should be taking people that were a part of UOSA during its beginning, not its tail end thus far. Sure many of the people on the list have done things even if only here for a short while, but that shouldn't be hall of fame quality ...

It would be like inducting LeBron James into the NBA Hall of Fame now. He has done amazing things, but hes still a newbie.

I assume from your self nomination and the excerpt above that you qualify yourself for this distinction? Why don't you give us your perception of what you contributed to the shard to be considered for the hall of fame? My bet is that it pales in comparison to some of the contributions of people who were not here in the very beginnings of the shard... and at least they still play :)

Quality over quantity IMHO.

My self nomination was a joke and anyone that knows me from while I was active here will vouch that I don't toot my own horn. I was one of the least "shit talking" pvpers. I nominated a handful of players that were not even "friends" of mine as well, but because they impacted this server to make it the way it is.

What I did while I was here though since you asked...

Museum donator.
CTF Wilderness was created and designed by me.
CTF Town is also my design and creation.
Britain Moongate's Tower Rune Library is owned by me (150k+ visits).
I have a character (Fruit Loops) that is in the top 5 in at least 2 tournament rankings ladders, or was even up until about 8 months ago (I've been inactive for 11 months) (currently 10/10/8 with my last match fromApril 2009.
The testing area and the areas that the moongates take you to are my designs and I personally created them.
I have helpped with numerous accuracy issues in the time I have been apart of UOSA.
I consider myself one of the better pvpers that uosa has seen. You can view my work at uomovies.com search Secondage and look for the following characters: Shargass Jaster, Ralina, Fruit Loops.

Matron steals stuff and cons people.....not hall of fame material....batlin and dagon have actually contributed things to this shard, like the installer program that reduced the size of the download, and automatically enters server info. based on that, I vote for the one of those that is closest to victory. PS: matrons a dude who doesn't correct people who call him a her...weird.

MY VOTE IS BATLIN

Voted hemperor....he's the least annoying on the whole list.

Matron would have been my second choice, but i'd end up helping get it a statue and then someday i'd get my house looted and i would never be able to live with myself.

ALL MIA , never see them other than in irc. Therefore undeserving.

Would I get into the hall of fame if I told Zedd he had two days to get me 600k of my money back he spent before I sell our castle and bank the loot?

Should be a rule that if you try to get yourself put on the list and then boast about your good deeds....you are then disqualified.

Interesting how earlier today hemperor had only a handful of votes, and somehow (thanks?) I was the clear victor (you should be voting for batlin anyway).

Anyway, with a little help from pristiq (cA's internet research specialist), we were able to track down several suspicious forum accounts that were created right before these mysterious votes appeared.

All of these were created at a rather close interval, and maintain a 0 post count. "MillerSux", "MatronDeLoser" ?? Sounds rather fishy to me hemperor.

I move to have this canadian demon sticken from the polls !!!

You have very little understanding of the impact cA, and more specifically, Matron has had (and continues to have) on this shard then. We're some of the biggest philanthropists, event organizers, and forum/IRC help resources around. Yes, quite a few of us have thief characters and enjoy the occasional scam--but that pales in comparison to our dedication to upholding T2A and UO as a sandbox game that offers an endless possibility of community building activities.

Matron has painstakingly researched many of the era accuracy details of this shard. Namely, a lot of the underused and underrated skills that make UO the great, albeit quirky, sandbox game that it was during this era. Part of what made UO the game it was during T2A was the fact that UO refused to cater to one particular playstyle--thieving included. Matron has single handedly tested, written, and participated in the creation of a great number of the guides and T2A Wikipedia entries on every facet of playstyle within UOSA that countless new community members turn to for advice. Matron created one of the first major scavenger hunt events on this server that seems to be so widely popular now. Matron may not be everyone's cup of tea playstyle, but that's no cause for slander.

The Daily Planet approves of this message of support for it's candidate, Matron de Winter.

I think you should take your suggestion to Derrick. I'll assume your accusations are sarcastic, but regardless I don't think brand new accounts should be able to vote in polls anyways (if they even can).
