The fact that you admit that only means it is most certainly you.
I think you gave me a house by the spirit shrine like in 2008 or early 2009 before I stopped. Willy Wonkas house was just south of it.
And you joined that last guild I was in with whats their faces... too many people I don't remember but yeah... it's me.

Psilo wrote:Does anyone remember when the trammel citizens decided to hunt in Klaldun and we ended up pking them lol. Guild Red ex members and Column(I believe) lead us to victory. It was a way for us old school feluccans to get back at the creation of trammel in a way, a huge benchmark for LS pvp scene at the time.

Many of us went into statloss to give trammies a taste that many of them never had. The well-known bow-crafter Dennar lead them and what a fun event it was.

Of course I've come a long way from my pking days on LS, I do no such thing on UOSA.
Poison Field Chair Deathmatch was still a good classic. Also our stat PKs ran the bounty boards for a while. A Guard, Me as ZlugPlop the Ogre, I still remember the day I first met Column in Shame. I stole all his regs and was like wtf you are good wanna run with me? Lets see... Dark Shadow, Dark Knight, Lud, Nimravous or whatever the crap his name was, Raven DSS, Hunter and there was a lot of trial people but we all saw the team we put together. I was always the scout/trouble maker/location manager since I was THE only dexer in the crew. Noobs at CoD gate "Vas Rel Por Red" that was the drill.

The daily raids on RD city. Epic fights at our "[Red] Ridge". *Flash backs*

I didn't ever really get very far in UO but I did play LS for years and I always thought you guys in [Red] were really cool (I don't know how else to explain it, at the time I was in my early teens and you had a web site with cool pictures :P)

So I'll leave it at that and say it'll be a pleasure to play with everyone here (I just started my first char here).

I remember Colby.....trinsic gate was a hoot. I played there briefly as a Giovanni dexxer/town/gank thief. LS was some hard core mofos. Was funny in 97 - so few people could recall, let alone gate that everyone coming in or out had to go through the main gate. Fun times!

Ahh yah i remember you hanging around. Good times. I was at the gates months before fun loving criminals where formed there. When Muir and Kaplan played regularly. I Kinda was one of the main guys afterwhile who had friend privlages to Muirs house. If you see me in game say hi . Still named One ..still a Bald Guy with a long beard..usually wearing a skullcap.

Hey all,

I was on LS back in the day (97-2001).

Played as (in chronological order):
Bedlam (macer pker)
Ragancy (mage before everyone was GM mage - ran with Ultimatus of LW)
Vainglorious (pvp fencer dexer with 100 resist)
Reality (pvp mage)
Varen (~ 2001 mage/alchemist combo with damage bonus on explode potions...mad fun char to play!).

Anyways, I just started out and see that this server is fairly active for a free shard.

I don't know anyone on here so any help starting out would be greatly appreciated. I've also got a bunch of questions (like is Wrestling needed for pvp mage in order to not get interrupted?)

Cheers all - good to be back

I played on LS from 97-98 as "Shermhead THC" and it was a very memorable experience. The game had a real community and little in ways of PVP regulations. I used to run in a small guild "Soul Assassins" (SA) with Siegfried and Christopher W.

We were dicks and had towers full of loot from dungeon PVE'ers. We harrassed Insidious Brotherhood from the beginning and used to do hit and run's at silks. I don't think there is anything like it nowadays. Oh ya my arch nemesis was "Caramon Fey" who was a dex monkey who always was loaded with good gear and the best heal potions. He always was a master at run and recall and infuriated me lol.

I remember you, and I definitely remember Christopher  - Battles with IB at Silk's was one of my favorite early UO memories. I can't remember the guy's name, but I remember an IB Dread Lord who was a GM alchemist and I thought 'wtf is he going to do to me?" - shortly after I was dead from his viking sword and purple potion hukin
