Sorry man. You are playing the wrong era. T2A was all about PKs, anti-PKs, ganking, griefing... Nothing new and your little rant is exactly the reaction that lead to Trammel. Good news for you... it exists on many other shards. If you want a positive player experience here, you'll need to be able to hold an area to farm it or have the means to defend it. Get some friends, become a part of the community or be slaughtered as food.

Trammel was created because the company was here to make money and you can't make money or grow a community if you run everyone off by scamming and making them not want to play by grief constantly.

I had my fair share of enemies on osi back in the day, but at the end of the day it still didn't make me not want to do stuff. The population was bigger and had a better variety of people than we do here. We seem to attract maybe 2 kinds.

T2A is just an era of UO and it's being perverted here to an extreme that wasn't present in the era.

I see what you are saying and i'm not arguing . The server needs it's element of danger, it just doesn't need spiteful rude little snots who just happen to be adults. This isn't Modern warfare where you kill someone and teabag them.

Hm, well, it's not currently appliciable to NPC hireables, which I assumed are running the same script as pets. It seems the NPC follower command list is RunUO default.. which makes 8 WW's more possible than it ever was on OSI.

Glad I dont hunt where I'm getting ganked but then again I easy light and easy stuff. I've been attacked 3 times and PK'd once but now I'm a little bit better prepared. I don't like the fact that I have to spend 50% of my attention on my surroundings, always ready to recall out at a moments noticed but what are you going to do. I need to get a house and the only reasonable way, aside from mining and chopping wood is hunting.

lets make a guild and hunt together! the more of us the better.

And the best way to get a house fast (as a newbie starting out) is definitely mining. I had a house in about 2 days.

It's true, there is millions of gold walking around in the wilderness at any one time and hunting the wilds is almost completley risk free. Grab a cheap vanq weapon and just start clearing out whole areas. The forest SW of Minoc has great spawn and often spawns 3 monster camps at a time giving you 3 chests you can unock with magic unlock. I've gotten very nice vanquish weapons, loads of deer/bear hats, id/lighting wands not to mention all the gold and regs from clearing out that forest and never so much as seen a red there once. The Northern Territories are great too with the heavy Air Elemental spawns (alongside lots of other stuff) and penty of sheep to shear. Then there the Lost Lands hotspots like The City of the Dead and Ophidian base, sure you will see Pks at Ophidians sometimes but very very rarely by comparison to the dungeons and I've only ever seen PKs once in the City of the Dead.

Also being a total scab and looting & selling everything that drops, including regular weapons and armour, and you'll soon find you can make plenty of cash without having to deal with PKs at all. Don't leave scrolls, gems, crappy magic items; sell it all!

I still hit up dungeons of course, but when it's peak times for the PKs I keep to my alternatives. I got my first small house this way in my first week playing and now I happily own 2 well equipped smalls and an L-Shape and also have 3 completed/equipped characters to muck around with. Honestly if you are struggling to get started then swallow some pride and go hunt the wilds. It's also a great way to see all of the quirky less travelled areas and sights that UO has to offer and combines perfectly with IDOC/house space hunting and resource gathering. It's win-win.

I just only yesterday ventured into the northern terrorities and came across a bunch of Airs and Gargoyles. Also buy just shearing the sheep I've come across I have well over 5k bandages for my warrior and about 40 piles of wool still left to be turned into bandages.

He's a UO player...he plays the game how he wants to and he understands thats part of the game. It's better than listening to you bitch and cry about getting owned because you're too stupid to use the full potential of your character. Seriously i tried to give options and advice on how to handle the situation. But honestly, i see people EXACTLY like you on many different servers. You're going to die on this game, you're going to run into assholes who dont give a shit and guess what? They can. Idk if you realized this but when we kill you this is what we get:

Come on are you joking? You need to learn how to play this game. Carry pots, carry magic items, learn to use several pets...Do away with your "im a good guy" mindset..."I dont carry more than 2 dragons because other people dont like it and its not a challenge."
