The server is currently in Texas and is being moved to Toronto.
The lag spikes are not a problem with the current location of the server but an ongoing problem with the network at the hosting location which they have failed to fix. Most players though should see decreased ping times as a result of this move (I hope).
It's very difficult to determine what the true responsiveness of the new location will be until we get moved and load up the shard.

i know that right now it might be hard to have these answers.

Now it's farther from me, can we move it back to texas? If anyone kills me its because of my lag, not your uber leetness fyi.
