I like that people who do absolutely NOTHING for this shard try and bring someone down for trying to help things along even if I AM in the end wrong. What have you done for T2A lately crew man.

But I am done. I thought people here were a little older but it's pretty obvious this is not entirely true. Sorry for dragging this out I just wanted to get to the bottom of the way it actually worked.

Also this was posted by Pirul :

1.- Those SS really bring back memories!! I support the change to that font and color.

2.- The reason it saves and allows you to continue playing, as someone stated above, is to allow you a certian period of time to do something completely out of your nature in UO. Wanted to go kill innoncents that were farming, do it...you won't take counts. Want to see if a tower fits in that L-shape spot, do it, if it doesn't, nothing is lost; etc.

I stand behind what I said.

I have never played a sphere shard...hell, I've never played UO other than in OSI and here. I would not venture to say that the same font or anything was used OSI-wide, but I used to play Europa eventhough I live in this hemisphere, so I played A LOT of "server wars".

I'm not sure about the technical reasons for having "server wars", I just know they happened.

Server wars did happen, and there was a message stating that the server would be going down.

But that has nothing to do with save messages on freeshards.

Perhaps those messages were in that font and that is where the memories are coming from - blurring it with a save message. I don't know still swear it existed but I have seemingly been proven wrong.

You are probably remembering the shards going down for routine maintenance, because there was a message for that. But no, there was no message for the shard being saved because there was no reason for there to be one since saves did not freeze gameplay like on freeshards.
