When I played OSI on Pac I was in the companion program and it was fun but I don't think that would fly here. I could see Vega going to help a noob on his Companion then coming in with other account and PKing them lmao

imo server dying cuz everyone who joins leaves right away or shortly after cuz they cant go out and do anything without being pked every time everywhere so they quit. cuz pks outweigh blues in dungeons i think

The last THREE dungeon crawls that I had run (with the help of staff), were completely obliterated by pks. I had people pming me, asking if it was ok to bring pks etc. Thinking that it wouldn't hurt to have a little bit of resistance, I didn't have any disagreement to it.

The first time, it was a lil bit of resistance, but the spawn was crazy and everyone gave up. The second time, the pks just started picking people off. The Third time, the pks fully outnumbered the people attending.

I understand that people want to pk. Pks don't get enough action on this server; that's for sure.

But, you folks just completely ruined the entire experience for a ton of newbies on their first real outting. You chose to forego the actual crawl, and then stopped anyone from ressurrecting and coming back.

After the 3rd failed attempt at a crawl, I stopped asking to do them. It takes effort on my part and staffs to create and then get people to join these things.

Essentially, Pks cut their own throats. You got too greedy.

I interpret what he said differently. I interpret it more like:

"I'm trying to do something good for the players, the shard, and the population as a whole by helping new players establish themselves in the game. Meanwhile assholes who care only about their short-term goal of 'fun' ruin the effort for all involved, causing the new players to become frustrated and quit, which is a significant factor in the impending demise of this shard."

i miss back in the days when there was fear to leave your character macroing. wish i was hear for the crowd but i got this feeling that they will come back it will happen. Gotta remember what shard just launched and its history of falling back down after a 6 month basic period... it will happen again and they will be back. When it comes down to it. the era we live in is hard. its the era of pure brawn and brains. if you dont have the brawn to cut it use your brains to work around it.
