Dying on a character due to this exploit that 'didn't matter' <-- means exactly that... life still cotinues if you can believe it or not.

Just FYI, you cannot instant log for 2 minutes after a player has aggroed on you.Faust wrote:... Furthermore, if you are alive and start getting targeted it's extremely easy to recover your HP by healing or insta logging out of the property altogether if you are unable to heal.
No, only players that are flagged as a criminal or aggressor are unable to instantly log out... when you are attacked you are still freely able to log out instantly. If that is not how it is currently working on UOSA than it's not accurate and needs to be fixed.the bazookas wrote:Just FYI, you cannot instant log for 2 minutes after a player has aggroed on you.
First, a group of people can not pre-cast and sync on a target using this exploit... they must select their target before casting MS/CL which takes 2 seconds to cast on top of the additional amount of time it took setting up the relative target followed by the time it takes to sync on the target.Pirul wrote:Not to mention that you'll probably see a gate pop up a couple of tiles from your house...and by the time you see who comes out of hiding from that gate it will be too late as you'll already be dead. The guy posting above me would pretty much make sure you don't even know what hit you leaving you with 0 reaction time (regardless of the fact that you can't insta-log when fighting even when blue).
You would basically need to Alt+F4 everytime a gate pops up close to your house.
Faust, I can appreciate what you're trying to do, but this bug does allow people to be effectively Insta-Killed in their own homes. I've tested it. Even with people knowing that its coming, they weren't always able to log before dying.Faust wrote:Really was not trying to imply that it could not be used against non-afking macroers. Was just trying to point out that the issue would mainly effect afk macroing when compared to non-afk macroers. Razor should be less of your worries when it comes to this issue. EUO is where you should direct your worries at when it comes to this exploit.
Would still prefer a policy be put in place making this exploit illegal but will persist forward one way or another though.
all it would take is a stealther, or a char left hidden near your house, to see which tile you are standing on. with a little practice the attackers could easily reset their relative targets based off where you are standing and where their freshly marked kill rune pops up.Faust wrote:First, a group of people can not pre-cast and sync on a target using this exploit... they must select their target before casting MS/CL which takes 2 seconds to cast on top of the additional amount of time it took setting up the relative target followed by the time it takes to sync on the target.
this. pretty. much. sums. it. all. up. right. here.Light Shade wrote:Besides, you shouldn't have to Exit your client to stay alive in your own home....
I just tested this, and it works as you say it does. Aggressor cannot insta log, but victim can poof right out.Faust wrote: No, only players that are flagged as a criminal or aggressor are unable to instantly log out... when you are attacked you are still freely able to log out instantly.
