Portable forges were deletable on sight on OSI. I had an item-blessed one actually and feared using it because of the way the GM's were attacking players who had them. It's a pretty overpowered item.

You had to buy an expansion for that, so that was okay with EA.

Arkosh Kovasz wrote:The OP also mentioned silver serpent animations. I have seen the large ones, but not the small ones. Weren't silver serpents originally the smaller animation? Also,I'm at work right now, does that link give any credit to them actually being tameable?
Older tamers did say that there was an small version of the Silver Serpent that was tamable. Yes, Silver and Dark Wolves existed as well. I have seen a tamed Silver Steed in action on Napa during summer 1999 when I was still chasing wild horses. Older tamers mentioned that silver/dark steeds (and wolves) spawned in the same area and would fight each other. These things were all gone from the wild by the time I was aware they even existed.

jwilsons seem to spawn anywhere slimes do. Something like 1/X slimes are jwilsons.

*sighs*
Haven't seen the illusive jwilson yet, but I am glad that he is still mocked eternally.

I saw one in Covetous 2 the other day, near the corpsers...
Although I suppose, if it wasn't targeted or dealt damage for about 24 hours, it's gone by now.

EA seems to have pulled a lot of features from what was previously considered bugs; It seems that both players creativity and code errors are a huge creative resource. Double hit, Precasting, fast casting, are all elements that arose seemingly from player creativity and later became featured mechanics in some different way.

I would assume not. A few dark steeds spawned at one point but that was about it.

we really shouldn't have dark/silver steeds spawn again. the prices on nightmares alone are high enough.if we had these mounts it would just drives prices upo and make tamers even more pricey on their mounts.

Not sure what you mean regarding nightmares being pricey. The price of nightmares has actually fallen because of the all follow me t2a exploit.
