Hah, yeah. If anyone who uses F-keys tries to tell you it hasn't happened to them, they're lying to you. I've done it more than once throughout my UO tenure. The last time I changed my layout I changed my alt combinations so they end at Alt+F1 so I never have any business reaching that far over.

Those spikes are killer. Even though the highest was in the low 200's, it's the jumping that makes it unplayable. If you have consistent high ping, while still shitty, at least you can learn to anticipate how long it takes to equip/remove a hally or how to time spells, damages, purple timer, etc. So much of the PvP mechanics rely on timing and "feeling" out those times, that having inconsistency like that is horrible.
