Sorry, ill never rage quit no matter how many jobless nerds and trolls tug at my pant leg.
I just want this shard to be restored to what it already has been, just like everyone else.
I've already told all my friends and managed to bring a few noobs into the game.
We gotta build this baby from the ground up again. Gms cant do it alone.

Kye Smogg wrote: And griefing in EQ was -far far far- worse than UO. One player could wreck it for an entire zone (the guy who decided he wants to do nothing but pull trains for an entire evening in Unrest on his monk). And the XP loss was painful too, so just "losing your stuff" wasn't the only irritant. People could do those things there without any recourse. (Just go Google Fansy the Bard for a story of one of the most epic and hilarious MMO griefers ever, which happened to be in EQ).
I just wanted to chime in here. As a player who played against Fansy's shenanigans on that server and played EQ for MANY years (still installed and subscribed as recent as last year), this is simply enormously untrue. UO is where griefing thrives and is encouraged. It is the predominant playstyle of UO and one of its HUGE draws for veterans of the game.
There is way more to lose by griefers in UO then there ever was in EQ. And it is/was much easier to avoid griefing in EQ than it EVER is/was in UO.

Btw, the non pvp servers in EQ were 5 times more populated then the Zek servers even at their peaks.

Except in UO, if you get griefed, you can murder the motherfucker.

Your dog isn't smart enough. My Beagle has a 7x tank wizard and he runs this shit.
In a box no pots ...you know so you can really glow on your own set of rules made to fight with your 7X and make it look good.

That's why tanks Pk in flocks. A lone tank is crap on the field. They are just show horses for tourneys. Up your dex you are red pot sponges. You run more then you cast. You dont need more then 80 int in game outside your nerd cubicles unless you are strictly PVM. Seriously you can get by with 70 and be notch.

To me the tank mage is a training tool to learn how to combo in. On the field and stocked I am going to say even contrary to what they told you... it's perfectly fine to wear leather tunics even. It's a whole other ball game out there.

A high dex fencer mage with a long spear even with str dropped to 90 can be boss. Because clothing and jewelry is a dime a dozen (not even going to touch on pots). If someone wants to waste mana debuffing who cares? You can pull off stats like 90/65/70...and when the pvp/pk starts you can reach stats of up to 110 85 80 now that is a tank...you guys are jokes.

(Let's tell them a dex of 25-35 is all you need so we can kill them like flies making them hunt for us) Yeah and when you are being hit left and right with running, poison, debuffs, big hits and the occasional blunt object draining your clumsy self... you wonder why you fail.

8) Unlearn all you have learned. Now you know you can insta at 2.5 secs at 25 dex. Try not to get so low. The problem remains in not equipping properly. Now put those enhancement items on your vendors. Change one of your tanks to see what I mean. Raise your dex drop swords for fencing and you will be gold on the field as long as you have stat enhancers.

Think we'd all like that, but UOSA will never be what it was. 90% of vets are gone, in refresh-mode, or quitting; no regular events to speak of (which was a driving force for bringing the community together consistently), and more strict/onerous take on t2a-era rules, etc.

Add to that, our primary referrer JoinUO is now operated (why Derrick, why?!) by someone who just opened their own shard in the same era with all the above plus a donor-shop and vote-count padding, and you can see we're in for a rough ride. :/

To any one that actually plays, and has been around long enough, they know we've been free-riding for the last 1-2yrs -- and it says something for the shard that we could for so long. Not planning on going anywhere, but given ^ things don't look particularly positive for the future.

I'll face any template you come up with solo with my classic tank anytime. Saying a swords mage is only viable in packs or in an arena is just silly.

I don't know his char names, but have I even seen ASR out battling? Your theoretical template discussions are mildly entertaining, but I can't tell how much real experience you have... Seriously, I'd love to test these builds vs. me anytime.

I think that guy was joking Abyz.
Rammar, someone opened up a shard in the t2a Hally whack era? Didnt know this, not sure if this could potentially hurt uosa or not. I guess I dont see how it could help.
I always said, someone create a uosa shard identical to this 1 and add events and I bet the population would be higher.
But Im not trying to beat a dead horse again.
