I don't care about these player-city-spawns...Derrick knows what he's doing and would never put in some unbalanced/unfair shit just to make a certain guild happy. However, I demand ACE's roads and stablemaster be replaced, since I still play. That's the thing, I don't think there's any concrete rules for decay of GM-added features or NPCs.
What criteria is used to decide when these things dissapear? That's what bothers me, not the fact that people have these special spawns and decorations. These should be left in place at least until the clan's guildhouse falls. They're fun and unless they're obstructing the environment (like a couple massive walls I've seen), I don't see why anyone would have a problem with it. Guilds have to pay quite a bit (we're talking like 100k ore) for these things anyways.
One last thing - I just came back after not really playing for a couple of years. I noticed the population is about half what it was then, but the shard is still active. If we want new players, we have to add new and exciting stuff like what these guilds are doing. If the guild has events and contributes to the shard, they should be able to get some GM added stuff (within reason) IMO.
