Having an alternate gater actually makes having a macer tamer more viable now I think about it...as you want to stay positioned for your pets to follow through the gate and not running all over hell's bells. You can heal up to 40 hp from one charge you know?

Like I said before though it's just another option and each variant would play out differently. Hiding might work for you...if it does I am not going to argue.

*PS-Guild chat works as system message I believe so you might have a macro que to have the gater have ready different locations ready to gate by what you type or set a hotkey to say in guild chat.

Old thread, but wouldn't it be hard to kill a tamer say with 6 or 7 dragons with him, at least a few pkers would need to be there casting EV's at least. Also is it possible that you could be completely enclosed by the dragons, so that they couldn't cast a direct damage spell (eg- flamestrike) on your because they couldn't see you?

I think I also heard that you don't want to have too many dragons, it's crowds the screen too much makes it hard to move around.

i farm with like 1 white wyrm or 3x dragons or so depending on the spot i can pm you on irc if you want more info

Yeah, that's what I was wondering recalling without your dragons then the PK's can kill them easily while you aren't there.
