UO Second Age

Wep skills take around 5-6 hours with a brown bear from 0-GM (w/o buying the skill).

When I started here I used a paladin and it was taking a long time, someone suggested I use an NPC mage. It was much faster but I had trouble keeping the mage alive. Brown bears are win due to their high natural AR. They require very few bandys to keep alive.

How much taming you need for these guys?
Can you use the same 'all guard' tricks to prevent them from attacking you?

I think you need about 35 taming, but you can also buy them from the stable. Their AI is exactly the same as NPC fighters/pallys, so yeah you can use the same methods.
