I find it funny that people cry about tactics when Bloodrock puts so many restrictions on orcs when they play to begin with.

And seriously I dont ever want to hear anyone in URK complain about a gank.
We invented Gank.
We had to gank when everyone had mounts and the only way to stop people was krimping them.
Orcs are gankers by preference,very seldom should 1 orc be seen fighting on his own......

And yeah,for anyone willing to put a little thought into it instead of crying any tactics that orcs get to use can be countered by enough people without our restrictions.

And just for teh record once I actually start PvPing and Im not a snaga I will always take gold,food,and gems off your body!!
Other than that unless you are an ass I leave the crap so we can fight more!!

I detest the orcs recieving preferential treatment and getting their own orc fort built, especially given the fact that it is a ganker's dream. Stone wall across the door means it is impossible to escape their arrows and poison.

Obviously the flip side of the coin is that a vibrant role play community is a good selling point for the shard, but at least design custom forts for everyone else too- or at VERY least design their custom fort in a way which does not give them an absolute advantage when it comes to PvP.

Bunch of house banning newbs too, imo.

In general orcs don't go around griefing people on their alternate characters. (The ones that have been around for a long time) - infact, for most orcs, this is their only character.

The 'treatment' we recieved is from the fact that we are a huge guild - 51 members and growing, chopped a LOT of wood to get that fort built for us, have helped gm's out with an event(more to come in the future) and are an attraction to the shard (bringing a lot of players (51 that were not there before) - bringing more roleplayers from other shards here and helping the community in various other ways) Not to mention since the very history of any UO shard from OSI to now, roleplayers that have an active, structured guild almost always get gm support to assist in roleplaying. You are probably just mad because your horse got killed a couple times.

Then go make an roleplaying guild(that has been active for around ten years), recruit 50 members, chop thousands and thousands of boards, and im sure somethnig can be worked out for you.

And orc forts have always given orcs an advantage, thats why it is best to come with a lot of people (generally the best fought battles were against other huge roleplaying guilds that know how to work against us) and seeing how on the field the senario is that we are generally unmounted and humans run in circles chain paralysing and dumping on us when the majority of us have aroud 50 resist - The fort is the only equaliser.

And anyone that is 'house hiding' is because they dont wish to partake in the above explained senario and are going to be logging off seeing as there arent any orcs on to back them up. We are working out the 'house logging' (usually when are not ready for combat or in the middle of something else and dont wish to battle) - and it shouldnt be something to mention/see in the upcoming days/weeks.

Again if you find the guild and the 'treatment' absolutely repulsing, then do yourself a favor, dont visit, and continue playing uo in a bubble.

He is just mad because he placed some house near the yew fort and thought that, somehow, us orcs would miraculously come up with 500k and be willing to buy it for that.

This isn't entirely true. I have used alts and interacted with some orcs to see how they do and I know of a couple of cases where the person runs back to their house, bans, heals, charges out, runs back in, heals, etc. This isn't condoned orcish behavior and I plan to squash it.

Its also an advantage of having the fort...no one can ban you from the fort. I suppose we coulda placed a castle and tried to decorate it like an orc would O.o

I had to ban a few people from my house yesterday because I was in the middle of trying to re-deed it with nothing on my person when a bunch of oranges decided to show up. Other than that Ive never banned anyone from my house.
