Sorry lance I didn't realize you took abbreviations and made them so personal. Maybe why you have the WORST player names EVER on a shard EVER

I doubt I will be posting anymore about anything. Or suggesting anything because apparently everything I say is wrong. The only thing really era accurate is how rude people can get.

So to recap, you wanted the community's opinion on out of era housing on a t2a shard, you got picked on a bit (just like everyone on the internet gets picked on), then went into e-rage.

calm down man.. you should know that if you post things like this(i.e. out of era) there will be people who will not like it and give you shit for it. its not a big deal. life goes on. no reason to can any suggestion you may have in the future. you never know.. something you come up with many people may be interested in.. suggesting out of era things though you just simply have to expect a majority negative reaction.Sinatra SUN-FoW wrote:I doubt I will be posting anymore about anything. Re: Curious about everyones opinion on new house types.
i quite liked the idea of custom housing, and given some effort you could come up with some pretty awesome designs. as for uor houses, everything besides the small tower and villa looked retarded. of course adding either uor or custom housing here is completely out of the question.

I thought the small tower was the worst of all the new designs. Talk about cramming 10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound sack.marmalade wrote:i quite liked the idea of custom housing, and given some effort you could come up with some pretty awesome designs. as for uor houses, everything besides the small tower and villa looked retarded. of course adding either uor or custom housing here is completely out of the question.

Yea sorry - I just feel like the community on this shard is lacking. No one wants to really play the game or associate with one another or hell for that fact go dungeoning together. I hardly ever see that - while I love the PvP element I just wish people could get a long more. I know I am guilty of saying dumb things and I do apologize. I just get frustrated that I don't get to experience what we ALL want to experience the way it used to feel back in the day.... OG style 97-2000

But honestly - just because you are anonymous does that give you the right to act like a complete hater.

There was Fogwood, which I believe was ran by LOA, right near the Yew gate, which included a fountain, a stable, and many other seer improvements.Sinatra SUN-FoW wrote:OMGCAPSLOCK wrote:If you start introducing things like this it'll just turn into every other server out there.
Awww, just a few houses and it's every other shard? You really feel that way? KA get's to build their big town and as far as I can remember on Atlantic from 97-2000 this NEVER occurred. Hmm
Here are links to stratics pages on Fogwood and the tavern:

http://uo.stratics.com/shard/Atlantic/a ... ross.shtml
My old guild, the Knights of Sosaria had Elysium, which included the Wandering Wisp Tavern and many other places including Leiah's Rune Library, at which the seers had locked down many runes after the house had been looted a couple of times.
Here is a link to the stratics section on Elysium (it was much bigger than shown in the picture. Also in the picture of the tavern, my old char Valdor Canz is seated in the SE corner with the helmet, chain armor and purple sash...that is Grunwald seated beside me I believe...):

The Wandering Wisp Tavern:

& Leiahs:

(the quote in the picture is great, not long after the Wandering Wisp Tavern opened)
Towns and such were in place, and the seers did a bit to help decorate and make them functional. It was pretty hard to get the seers to do anything though. For example, we tried to get them to do some stuff for the Wandering Wisp tavern, but were never able to despite having a very active tavern and town. A seer came and talked to us about it at the wisp one time, but never followed through on the plans to decorate.
Not long after they got rid of the seers...

Can't deny proof - I was wrong on that one... but in the same point some buildings in OSI land were custom made by GM's for players.... so what's the difference between that and a few different housing schemes.
