I dont see what everyones deal is with this guy. I was willing to pay his price until I got an offer to buy one in my guild city. Castles are somthing they arent making anymore of, gold is always out there. Me and a friend went in together and farmed the gold to buy the castle from my guildmaster (2.1 mil) in about 3 days. Castles offer more secures, more lockdowns, and more space then a keep. They also offer an entire secure main body in which neither your nor your npcs can be EQ'D. Keeps you have to be more toward the center of the main body. And you can recall directly into your house. so creature spawn is not an issue. As far as people recalling into the courtyard, well, its not that big of an issue. Castles offer so many secures and lockdowns theres really no reason your castle shouldnt be fully secure. And if its not, then you can easily fill your courtyard with boxes. I really dont see how anyone on here can think a keep is better then a castle, because the only advantage I see it having is a cheaper price. However, with current market demand for them, some of them are going for insane prices (1.5 mil?), yet not one is complaining about that. Bottom line is, this guy will sell this castle, and if he continues to have problem selling it I may just purchase it myself. Having a castle is money in the bank, and a solid investment if you bank on the shard continueing to grow, which I do.
