Are you guys honestly this bad at trying to prove a point in an argument? Don't try to twist my words into something they're not if you can't grasp the meaning, thanks. Its a dumb mechanic and I think its incorrect and not era accurate, which I pointed out more than once. I have a tower and an L shape, I don't need anything else, ever. UO is never fair, that doesn't mean the game mechanics should be wonky as balls.

Edit- Another thing, anyone saying they placed a house recently is actually completely missing the point, we have already agreed that YES THERE ARE SOME SPOTS AVAILABLE but not as many as there should be, this is a long-term issue about the growth of the shard.

On the contrary I think its you who's struggling to prove your point, as your argument seems to revolve around repeating "IT'S NOT FAIR" like some sort of mantra.

I was able to place a 3 room house just last night... housing over population only applies to towers+

I know of a tower spot (there was a tower there, but it went IDOC, or was pulled). But I'm keeping my mouth closed as I want to nab it. LOL Happy land-hunting!

The sooner all plots are filled the better, thats when the UO real estate market truly begins. If Bill Gates owns 200 houses in the US are we gonna complain??? No, he bought them fair and square. Should we limit him to 3 houses max??? No thats ridiculous. No one needs 15 houses. But if thats what they want and they can afford it so be it. Its up to them. I find it hard enough to keep a couple houses refreshed...props to those that can do this with 15.

P.S not sure if these points really make sense, im under a couple narcotic influences at the moment, but it seems to make sense to me :)

Cause yeah, any time you can relate a game where we all play wizards to what would happen in real life if the single richest person on the planet did something... that's gotta be an appropriate analogy, right?

Whiner

House Owner

Choose your side.

Want a house in a nice location? Buy it. Anyone will sell for the right price.

Think everyone deserves a home? Should probably go ask fannie mae.

As fairly new players to the shard ( we just started 2 weeks ago ) My brother and I had to look for about 5 hours to find a spot for our patio house, we were lucky enough that spot was big enough for a tower but we are now heading to the expantion point and still have not yet found a spot to place a castle or even a keep... It is possible and with our funds very luckly to buy a castle from a player. I hope new players are happy with wooden shacks haha because that seems to be all they will get. Especially since whenever an Idoc goes up of decent space everyone fights for the spot or bam a house is up the next day saying for sale on forums.... thanks for that.

So you're saying because you've been here for (insert number here) you deserve castle spots, Caswallon? Almost NO players amass that much money in such a small amount of time during their first month, its quite a feat. If anything, someone willing to put that much work into farming /crafting/whatever for the express purpose of buying a keep or castle...should be able to get a keep or castle. But no, I guess being reasonable is too much for some old fart that just sits on his gold and laughs at new players.

No, I just find it hilarious that someone clearly thinks they should be able to *place* a keep/castle after 2 weeks of playing a 2 year old shard.
