Kadull give it a rest. You make some valid points (I agree with you about marketing, in another thread, for example) but in this case you're just being pedantic and desperate. You will never convince these people, because they're right.

1) Rule known
2) Rule broken (and flaunted, arguably)
3) Reasonable consequences

What the shard does not need is crooked cops who use entrapment in order to scam people and/or get them banned even if they are breaking the rules. Thats like a soldier leaving an AK out for a kid to pick up to shoot them in the head...

I don't have the experience with this game that most of you undoubtedly have. I wasn't around for the silver trade in/server berth items. Perhaps that's why I don't have any sort of desire for pixels that aren't good for anything other than looking at, or putting on display to make others "jealous", or whatever it is that's done with these types of items. However, I do understand that putting a lot of time and effort into accomplishing or acquiring something can make it valuable to someone. Maybe even $6000 valuable. However, if the argument is to be made that a punishment (which even I, as a player who hasn't been around all that long, already knew to be absolute) is too strong in any sense, perhaps we should consider the fact that those who had the stuff/wanted the stuff should have thought more carefully about the risk they were taking prior to agreeing to such a deal.

Looking at this from a completely objective viewpoint (I've never had any interaction with either party), I don't feel bad for either one of them. Agree with them or not, the rules are clearly stated, and I gotta throw some respect at Derrick for sticking to them.

That is within the time frame I have, I would say your pretty close. I hope the whole server is there.
