the only 1v1 no pots/magics event i ever went to, you didn't make the final

there were 2 people i'd never heard of in the final, so obviously you or spanky don't win every time!

What happened to your beloved Divinity with the glorified pvp or 'game mechanics' that you have touted?

Someday the recluse might actually come outside of that little enclosed box and get a reality check.

Wow completely off topic son, do you just spew random shit to try to get your post count to 5000 or something?

Pretty sure if I had accumulated 5000 posts between all of the different forums I've visited, I'd probably just blow my brains out. And you have achieved this on one website! Congrats my son.

In other words, you should maybe step away from the computer once and a while, get some fresh air... and stop jumping in on every post I make. You take this shit way to seriously.

Also, I just hit 15 posts and I'm pretty sure you've replied to every single one, stop riding my dick son.

Wow, please by all means.. next time just type <insert unoriginal comment here> to save yourself the trouble son. We will soon be humbled by some very original living in parent's basement or mother jokes here real soon.

Would not care one bit if Derrick wiped it back down to 0 right now at this very moment.

Honestly, the post count feature could and should be removed altogether and it would be just fine with me.

You're an idiot if you think a stupid little integer counter that tracks posts on an internet wizard forum matters to me.

Typically, this is just the usual weak argument for people like you on an internetz gamez forum that for some reason believes it sends a wizard tear down my rosey red cheecks sadly.

Sandro, this is the billionth thread about events and it won't be the last.

Create remove event threads...
- Events Removed -
Create readd event threads...
- Events Readded -

Rinse, repeat.

There is not one piece of information with in this thread that hasn't been mentioned several times in the past.

No point arguing with faust...

But, at the same time, it doesn't make him correct.
Events are good....
Complaining is bad....

You also know what pisses me off.... alot of these people that claim that they want everything in "the real world" of UO, login to test center regularly....

Since ur cuttin down the events, Cut down test center.... make it all Live or nothing...

You guys can and will bitch about anything that is working fine.... like Syntax said, "if it aint broken, don't fix it" true words of wisdom.

our population now sits around 480-550 average, maybe we see 600 tops during peak hours..

coincidence?
how can you compare winter/spring and summer periods? sure thing, most of the ppl try to take their time and spend it outdoors.

all in all, quality > quantity
The daily average has actually been steadily rising

I have definitely noticed more activity in the game

Even if we lost 50 people because they got sick of the lack of events, GOOD!

Quality over quantity

UO > WOW

I highly doubt we'd notice any difference in the feel of UOSA if all the tourney/event people quit. I'd still see farmers farming, I'd still see the pks trying to kill them. Brit, vesper, and many other banks will still be filled with people banking, selling and converging to chat. I'd still find all the pvp I find against people who aren't "all about" tourneys.

The only people this really affects is the minority that plays events. The funny thing is in UOSA the minority plays trammel, while on OSI it was the majority playing trammel that killed the game.

So I say DOWN WITH trammel, who cares if we lose a handful of neon item obsessed carebear veterans. The dignity and "Accurate Stance" of UOSA is more important.

do you read anything you post?

who are these tourny/event people? you continue in almost every single one of your posts to point towards these non existant fabricated people. The poeple that play the events are the ones out farming, they are the ones out pking people farming, they are the ones out selling and converging to chat (remove guild chat well see more of this).

Then you can cap it off with derogatory comments towards people who play uo a different way than you do.

An entrance fee towards ctf, dd, bagball, and tourneys would really help solve the issues these events had with afkers and increase the amount of competition within the event to people who really wanted to enjoy them.
If I'm not mistaken does anyone remember there being a mention of adding ranking system for ctf like there is for the pvp tournys?

the basic point of this is that uosa is a pretty hard server to make it on, especially for new uo players considering the amount of pks and what not, by no means is this place trammel even it has a few events that help bring a little freshness to 12 year old game. SO WHAT?! pvp/pking has always been a part of this shard. most of the "carebear's" u guys constantly post about also play stat loss pk's so go figure... everyone plays at different hours, so just cuz 20 people were sighted during "primetime" at destard doesn't mean that action at other times has changed. just showing that events should be scaled down during "primetime" and not the other time.

this is a note to all the people who post stuff along the lines of "ya remove/trash events... because its trammel..."
just cuz the gm's had an idea to have some events and people enjoyed. find it in yourself to stop complaining, whining and stop focusing your energy towards negativity bashing something many people enjoyed. if you cant post something constructive then simply don't post anything. do you honestly think that the staff of the shard did not consider the benefits/costs of having these types of events on the shard?
