I can log on now, to my relief, but when I click on my house sign it doesn't give the condition of my home and the items in my home

Same here. I opened the door but still no statement that it's refreshed either. Any updates? Has house decay been suspended? Hope so, given the circumstances.

As of October 25th 2024 the items in your home have been refreshed message appears when you open your front door
