Spawn rates are not decreased and in a few locations, the spawn rates have been increased since the first day of the holiday monsters.

Loot was increased from the 25th to the 28th in 2 select locations to increase player traffic to specific places (extra engagement), and to allow people with less time during the holiday season to have a shot at it. It's not a matter of making it "easier" - Sunday evening the spawn rates will return to what they were at launch of the event and remain that way till the 31st when it ends.

This was going to occur regardless, it's not in reaction to player requests or outcry
