thats understandable, but if someone waited til 23 hours and 30 minutes from last bid then increased by 1k, that would get very frustrating. Hence why i always bid in higher increments the higher the auction gets, to not waste the bidders, or sellers time.

This is true. I will also configure some buy outs so if one really wanted to prevent being outbid by 1k in the last 30 minutes, they would at least have the option of a buy out to prevent this.
