we did a lot more than host tourneys, give credit where it's due.Downs wrote: <any random pvp guild> who hosted x amount of tournaments to get a duel pit and then went inactive, that's a different story. I feel they should decay, or be considered for removal. It's also a detriment in the sense that the whole community may feel less inclined to support a new group who wants to establish a town because we have X amount of vacant inactive player towns.

Re: Town Add On's
As the last Chieftan of the Bloodrock Clan We DID try to get our fort restored for 1 /12 years after the event that put the holes there, and since we never got any answer on how we can restore the fort so we could continue here, Many Urks got fustrated and left. Its impossible for melee orcs on foot without any magery to defend a fort full of holes against "win by any means" mounted mages who run up spamming EVs. If we were able to continue at that fort we would have. If there was something put in place that all addons required UPKEEP (like dropping resources in a chest to maintain it) or they would decay much like houses, then I think that would solve alot, and I would certainlly support that.RoadKill wrote:I think all add-ons need a decay rate of some sort. Some type of upkeep would be good.
URK fort has been thrashed and I don't know if they are even active enough to constitute them as a "group" on the shard anymore. Their fort is taking up a multi-house plot as well.[/b]
Re: Town Add On's
We've wanted to put something in, both as a measure of policy and code to support the policy, that allows us to force maintenance on town add-ons for the last year or so. Unfortunately, something like this takes a lot of coding time, and if you look at our patch frequency for the last two years, Derrick really hasn't been available to make these changes. Still, it would be nice to get a policy in for dealing with these areas, and to clean up the landscape in areas that aren't paid for.

Or you could do it like Paws. Built up around the already pristine back drop of a serene forest. The shrine of spirituality at the epicenter. No need to pay upkeep for items already in place permanently.

Bunch of jelly party poopers in the thread.
I was dueling with mYm today in their arena
Funny how everyone would love their own addons but have to hate on everyone else
These addons form a nice history to the shard in my mind
