You can find people to duel though, right?

Godamn it. Some +- people were good on OSI, though. Which ones play here?

only good people actually wand spam.
Ive only been wand spammed like two or three times and got away.
Its rather hard to find wands and people dont know how to use them well enough so don't.
Chopper is really the only active + - , they came on here and tried to beg for money and everyone told them off, they pvped/zerged for a bit but the timers are different than divinity so they fell off and havent returned besides episodes in irc.

Theres lots of duels, some new guilds are being formed, and pvp should be back up and good to go i'd imagine in the next month. Theres small battles, just not 10 vs 10 vs 10 vs 10. Hence why people pk.

Ugh, that's a shame. They're a fun crew to have around IMO.

There is a delay for wands, right? I mean, these people have to cycle wands, correct?

I've never used them so I don't know.
I might consider it soon as everyone likes to recall.
If you are actually interested in playing here and not going to quit in two weeks, if you are around later on tonight and I happen to be on i'll give you 15k.

Heh, I'm set for gold now. Thanks anyway. I don't know if I'm even going to bother finishing my character though, if the pvp isn't any good and all people do is run around terrorizing nubs.

play the shard and decide for yourself.
there is more to do than pvp in the game, this shard isint really pvp based.
and pking is not 'terrorizing nubs' - I am usually 20-40 deep in stat and still stick around to fight one on one against people that are only playing to pvp.
Just if you are looking for fights, kill some people in the meantime that arent looking for them.

Oh and I guarentee you will spend ten times the amount of time trying to find a fight on divinity unless it was scheduled two weeks in advance.

Not sure who lied to you but, the pvp is below average here...hahah......

Best server over all though.
The only part that is below everage is the encounters. The mechanics are damn near perfect to the era, and if someone thinks that is below average they never played UO in '99.

I couldn't get anyone to give me 150 gold so I could learn healing and buy cloth. I even offered to pay double the amount on another unnamed server for gold here, and I couldn't find a single taker.

If I didn't hear the pvp was really exceptional here, I would have logged out never to return after about five minutes. Just my two cents. =)
lol get a job...

go kill mongbats.

I can help you; I'm on irc most of the time, just pm me whenever!

This shard is by far the best pre-ren shard out there, it's worth it.

Hah I saw you yelling for gold to train healing. Just go farm some wool off sheep or cotton in moonglow and sell it. get you started easily. If you need a gate or some advice, people are more than willing to help. Don't come here asking for free hand outs. (and no one here wants gold on any others server because when you start here, you never go back)

Stick it out, I'd say we have one of the most friendly and helpful communities.

You really cannot compare PvP here to any other server, regardless of spams or vent clients. The PvP mechanics here are simply way different than anything else.
