I logged in and made an archer. Oh, and I thought I was almost the only one "working my toon up in the woods" been on this server almost a year & I only have two GMx4 toons. But my Archer/dex keeps Just losing to PKs by a swing or two. Think how I'll do when I GM heal & my resist is higher then the 65 I have now :)

My miner/blacksmith got killed by the mountains in West brit. I just avoid those ppl. However

I was by the forge and koopa troopa pk'ed me then my mage. I reported him as a murder.

Also my miner was talking to zoey who when she found out I was new reccomended the Brit GY.

all part of the game. tho in the early days it did feel like I was paying 10 a month for the privilege of running for my life :)

You need to do two things to have fun on UOSA:

1. You need to play smart. Know where danger is likely to be found, avoid such areas early on, and even then be prepared to make a quick escape. Also, always have a back up stash of gold and equipment.

2. Do anything and everything you want. Don't feel constrained to play in any of the set way, e.g., PvP, PvM, etc.

If you follow both of these guidelines, UOSA will be the greatest game you have ever played.
