Perhaps I am wrong but during T2A there were no facets and as such everything was trammel with leaves and flowers, no? Note, when I say trammel I mean appearance only, not rule set. The 'dead' template didnt' come about until they did the shift I thought.

Do you have patchnotes for this? I'm a bit curious to know when it was changed.

I remember at 100 magery you got +11/-11 stat buff/debuffs (and at 99.9 it was only +10/-10). However, I'm a bit foggy on the timeframe exactly. The reasoning/usage I remember was as followed... People use to leave their characters at 99.9 so they could counter debuffs (you debuff me for -11, I rebuff for +10, you can't debuff me anymore due to the fact that I'm still technically debuffed)

There is no patch note that I am aware of that states the change. However, on stratics '99 site it states that the formula is magery divided by ten. The UO Demo was also confirmed to use this same formula. The +1 was added sometime close towards the UOR era.

Just curious...

So if its magery divided by 10 then if you had 9 magery it would be a useless spell (9/10 = 0...unless it rounds up). Of course, if it rounds up then 99.9 would be 10.

Yeah I didn't recognize anything about the landscape, but you're correct Ronk, there was no "dead" effect on the plants during t2a.. that came about when trammel was introduced.
I never spent time in trammel so I wouldn't know what flowers are being talked about.. o.O

Ronk,

If I remember correctly the effect added -1 or +1 after 5.0 skill and nothing below on the demo. It may have been in fact 10 or greater. I'd have to check it out on the demo again to be certain.

Double values given as an integer are rounded.

Wasn't saying it had the dead look. I just don't remember all the carebear flowers until Tram came around :p

When the UOR publish hit Trammel took on the flower carebear look and Felucca took on the dead wood look. I only remember the default map ever being used, but I can't be 100% certain. I know the default map is used on the Demo.

WORD!
we should have an event where all the guards around towns dissappear and the lands go dead.. PK's allowed in towns for a day or two and FORCE the citizens of Brittania to band together to defend themselves-until the mystery of the guard dissappearence has been solved

Great video though..
My favorite part is how they have the authentic spell system before it was changed where you could write in words for you macros to disguise the actual spell you were casting.

Not 100% sure about the hair but...
If the problem involving UOA removing attack last is correct there was UOX which I used for a few years even when it was considered illegal.
That helmet is demon bone armor.
