So is the timing of a mounted pet to go untame different from that of an unmounted pet? I have macroed for days on a nightmare and it has never gone untame. This is recently. An unmounted pet will go wild in something like 8 hours.Derrick wrote:They should lose loyalty and buck you off if they go wild when you are riding. Just last week I was bucked from a ferral frenzied I had retamed. I had to run around the brit gy retaming it. I later lost it to another mechanic of the game called a TG gank.nightshark wrote:So is the timing of a mounted pet to go untame different from that of an unmounted pet? Re: Guard whacking my Blue frenzy 3 times!!!!!!! possible b
This OP is onto an actual bug.
I recently tamed a White Wyrm and brought it to a quiet place in Delucia. The Wyrm sat there for more then 2 mins, I fed him, and then started moving him to the bank so I could gate him out. At the bank was a couple guards wandering around in range of my wyrm, at first they did not do anything, but after about 20 seconds of idling at the bank, seemingly out of nowhere a guard killed my Wyrm while he was blue. And I'm pretty sure he didn't even leave a corpse, it just disappeared entirely.
There is something wrong here, and I highly doubt the OP's frenzies just went un-tame all at once like that.
Also there is something to be said about mounts bucking you off. I don't believe this mechanic is working as it should. I'm pretty sure your mount is supposed to get hungry while you ride it, at the same rate it would get hungry if you were not riding it. If you idle on a a hungry horse for a while it is supposed to buck you off and go wild. Also one more thing. I believe that a fatigued mount should have an extremely fast hunger decay rate.
Currently on UOSA when you are mounted on your horse, the horse's hunger rate is frozen and never decays. (or at least the decay rate is dramatically reduced) This is not how I remember mounts acting in T2A.
I will try to find evidence to back up these claims.
Edit: Thinking back, the guard-whacked Wyrm may have left a blue corpse, although I don't remember fully.

mine never left corpses they jus disapeared, but i didnt feed mine after taming them.

Creatures killed by guards don't leave corpses behind.
Fairly certain this was designed this way to prevent people from constantly luring spawn to town and having guards kill them, and then proceeding to loot the monster.

[14:17] <UOSAPlayer4056> cr3w guild is a joke. Ran by staff members, multi client pking, this shards a joke and a half.

Is there a thread for mount accuracy? I don't think anyone believes we've got it quite right now.

Hehe, I remember losing tamed critters randomly to guards in the era. Never quite understood why either. I thought from reading the forums it might've been the "all kill" bug, but this one sounds different. I'll report if anything like it happens to me...
