Re: Blessed Items should break from damage [continued, part
I am pretty sure that anything blessed could still break especially from mace fighting. I remember this being true, I remember that when I sold my dark blue blessed sandals and the guy that I sold it too was worried that it was about to break and he IDed it and it was in good condition but it was still worn when I was fighting some mace fighters loafers back in the day.
So yeah they could break. I think even blessed weapons (if there are any here) broke as well.

Blessed items do break on UOSA (except items that were blessed before Patch 140b.
Patch 140b made newbie and blessed items breakable. Before Patch 140b, newbie and blessed items were unbreakable.
Items that were blessed before Patch 140b are "grandfathered" (aka "pre-patch"), and currently remain unbreakable.
I believe this thread seeks to remove the "grandfathering" of items blessed before Patch 140b, so that they become breakable.

That is exactly what this thread is in regards to.Zelek Uther wrote:I believe this thread seeks to remove the "grandfathering" of items blessed before Patch 140b, so that they become breakable.

all blessed items should break, regardless if grandfather or not. Hell maybe offer a silver return system for the blessed items that ppl will be "losing" if this was to be put into effect. I'd be happy to have this happen and I do have a few gf blessed items but I want EA!!!!!!!

Not the point. Non used clothing blessed deeds after the patch that made post-patch blessed items breakable were "updated" to no longer bless items into an unbreakable status. Why change some items and not others?Mirage wrote:GRANDFATHERED mean anything to you guys? lol

Because that's how this shard is, you can't take away a status of a item after it's been given. Just like they're not taking away houses that are in the swamps, or Sebbens house, or any other illegal placed houses....MatronDeWinter wrote:Not the point.
