Should have started 31 magery then.

But bards make good cash, they are good to start with...but really not many consider their bard their "main".

I wasn't about to so I made him a little more fun.

Good template though...just low mage scares me

Right. Start w/ 31 mage and lock it. Didn't plan to have so little mage on this char, it's just the way it turned out. All I do w/ magic is recall.

Thanks for all the help guys, these sound like some really good ideas. Spamalot, your template could be really helpful. Definitely not a bad plan.

It seems like this has been wrapped up but wanted to throw this out there.

After over a decade removed from the game I just came back about two weeks ago. Contrary to what I expected this has worked out rather well because this era was almost the precise point I left the game. As you said there is not a lot of help for new players and the ultimate sandbox that this game is can make it difficult for new players, so without beating that dead horse....

If you are looking for someone to show you around and help you get re- acclimated : Some NPC armor, maybe a few weapons, hunting spots, bag of regs, answering questions (to the best of my ability). Essentially teaching you how to "fish" without giving you too many fish; I would bee more than willing.

If you're interested (or anyone for that matter) post back and I'll check this periodically and we'll get in contact.
