You should be able to be active in the theives guild as long as you have 0 counts, so a perma red theif could probably still steal from blues.

The Horror factor would be a bonus, not to mention the disguise kit.

The horror factor would be more of a reason for people to instantly recall.

So, the idea is to go perma red, and then macro back down to 0 and hope you can stay in the thieves guild?

have you never been in a high warred up pvp guild or chaos/order? red is only for continually killing weak non warred, non chaos/order chars doing whatever it is they do in UO.... for whatever your reason. NOT for stealing stuffs -_-

Well in the confusion of battle and especially if you were red noone would expect you to be a thief. Taking steps like being the first in or running behind your companions in a feigned retreat would almost guarantee you could get them to aggro first on you.

Maybe it is more characterization then anything practical sure. But being able to disguise your PK name even should it still be red seems like a nice touch and almost Serial Killer like.

I like fleshing out my guys, I like variety...I really don't like taking part in constituting the majority. This game wasn't just about competition as the Trammelites like making it out to be. That kind of mindset really takes away from the playing experience I believe was intended.

One reason I like cA so much and even in my thumbbiting encourage them to do more, or others against them because I would like to see more evolution in the game. There cannot be any type of growth physically, mentally, spirituality (and regarding this) or in game without some form of conflict.

Creating a Red who can steal from you would be one way to introduce further variety.

There are also reds who hunt reds mind you, this could be one way to throw even them off.
