interesting...maybe it's just coincidence that after eating i've noticed skill gain or if fighting, more hits landed

when i first started waaaay back when, i was always told eat until quite full, never until you're stuffed

Panthor, no one said food allowed for an increased chance in gaining skills here.. it's common sense logic. Players that could not heal with bandages or magery that don't macro regenerates health and stamina faster. This returns 'faster skill gain' in the long run since you will be killing stuff faster than if you would have not eaten food. Again, this would have been more noticable during the pre t2a era for obvious reasons that were pointed out already by me.

Was not hard to understand the logic arch presented.

I'll point you to what I've already posted, Faust.

We both know you didn't read it.

Eating regains stam
More stam = more swings = faster weapon skill gain

It's not written in the code that eating increases skill gain, but there is a cause and effect going on here.

DAMNIT PANTHOR I THOUGHT YOU WERE SMART ENOUGH TO SEE THIS
STOP DRINKING THE SPECIAL TEA

AT BEST
food helps you gain skill when you're running around in circles burning stam for no reason while working macing

I accept. I won't even make you delete your characters. Post in Trade Forum?

Panthor apparently doesn't understand the 'cause and effect' logic, lol... Save face another day son.

Correlation does not imply causation.

What type of melee skill training drains your own stamina, exactly?

Mike took up your challenge but without your characters at stake.
Post in trade forums.

No need to be in trade, hes just stalling

I like how no one will answer exactly when your stam ever drops when training skills that would be impacted by it.

Worst forum gank ever.

I thought we were talking about how and why the eating will help increase the speed of skill game in era?
Mike seems to think it does affect it. All you have to do is post in trade and seal the deal...no harm done.
That challenge also includes properties aye?

Find one person I've ever scammed or didn't follow through on a stated deal with and I'll post in trade. If it goes to trade I'll expect something in return - so its a trade.

Second, because food only helps increase stam and stam doesn't decrease when working melee skills (or any other skills) clearly food has no impact on skill increases.

It would if stam was dropped somehow - that was implied.

But I don't play UO, so what do I know?
