Is it easier to hide after using invis?

If so, maybe shave some points off eval and med to get some hide.

I believe not, hide uses it's own random chance to hide depending on skill and proximity to other "humanoids" (for lack of a better word), or if you're in your own house, etc.

I tried it on Test for 50 hide and 25 hide next to the bankers in Brit, and no, it didn't help. (Only did 10 hiding attempts for invis+hide, and hide only, for each skill level.)

But I had a few more successful attempts without invis, so I don't think it helps.

Yeah, that's what I thought would happen. That's the reason you don't have to un-hide when macroing hiding. You can try to hide again while hidden and it is a new chance completely, it will not take into account the fact that you were already hidden.

GM Music
GM Provo
GM Wrestling
Gm Magery
GM Resist
GM Meditation
GM Eval Int

Is the build I am going for atm and Im almost there.. I tried GM hiding in place of wrestling (which is what I had on OSI) but I personally rather have wrestling on this server for many reasons. Of course you can get away with not having resist or wrestling but you will die more often. At that point I would go
gm music, provo, magery, eval, med, lockpicking, carto.

then you can pick the boxes in the dungon, do treasure maps, etc. I had a char on OSI with this template as my treasure hunter and did lvl 5 maps solo all the time..

Personally though I am going to make both templates... wrestle+resist and carto+lock..

Is it the worst Idea ever to replace Resist with hiding?

My t-hunter is like this:

Cartography: 100
Hiding: 100
Provocation: 100
Lockpicking: 100
Magery: 100
Musicianship: 100
Meditation: 100

Works perfect for dungeon chests and t-maps; I've never died because of magic damage from NPCs (the few times I died was due to balrons spawning right on top of me on lvl 5 maps.) I wouldn't use this template for just provo'ing in Destard, Titan Valley, etc; without wrestling and/or resist you're seriously asking for trouble unless you bring some additional tools like foot stools or tele/invis rings. Better to just have two separate char templates.

At one point I had lowered meditation a bit and raised eval int for a little extra damage, but in the end it was more beneficial to be able to cast often versus being able to hit a little harder. You don't need wrestling or resist for NPCs as long as you keep Reactive Armor and Magic Reflect up, and in all the time I have farmed t-maps and dungeon chests, I've only ran across a PK once.
