Theres always a chance of vanqs and invul armor in every level of tmaps, which can easily offset the cost of the map if you paid more than what it was worth.
Always a gamble to pay more, but in the end I've always felt you're basically screwing yourself because you're basically doing all the hard work (including building the carto/lockpick char) and just handing over the gold to some random guy who happened to just 'find' the map.

Wow, you're getting reflect and invis from t-maps? I only find those in dungeon chests.nightshark wrote:39 charges of spell reflection

Precisely why I was surprised by bids.Hicha wrote:Always a gamble to pay more, but in the end I've always felt you're basically screwing yourself because you're basically doing all the hard work (including building the carto/lockpick char) and just handing over the gold to some random guy who happened to just 'find' the map.

Wow, I haven't found a single invis or spell reflect from a dungeon chest. The best I got in a dungeon chest was like 10 charges of strength or something >< I don't even bother IDing the weps in dungeon chests anymore because they have all been terrible.Pirul wrote:Wow, you're getting reflect and invis from t-maps? In future I will probably only buy lv4-5. I'm relatively new to t-hunting so it's just fun to do.Hicha wrote:Always a gamble to pay more, but in the end I've always felt you're basically screwing yourself because you're basically doing all the hard work (including building the carto/lockpick char) and just handing over the gold to some random guy who happened to just 'find' the map.
T-maps seem more like a great bonus when they drop on a monster corpse, rather than to buy them off players and hope for good chest drops.
