It sounds like you'll have to leave it private the rest of the time you have it. The person sees that its private on another character so they dont log in their hidden character. So they keep coming back until they see its public on their other character then they log in on their character hidden in your house and loot away. That sucks though. I have offically lost all interest in a tower/keep/castle for this reason now.

That is exactly how i see it too...to buy a large house is a dangerous thing. I cant imagine another way how this happened than the last owner did that. So i need to replace the castle with a keep ... as fast as possible to get rid of that idiot...

i didnt read this thread but if you keep it public your doomed. only reason to have a hosue public would be to have vendors

can always jsut leave the doors unlocked and keep it private then dont have to worry

The items are safe in secure containers, the items are safe that ARE locked down, but the items that are IN locked down containers are not.

If a traded house is made public, it doesn't matter what type it is. The same problem exists for all of them. In fact, the larger the house the more characters they would need logged in it -- assuming you locked your interior doors.

Uhh. It was a tower in your first post. Castles have their own security issues.

I am a bit offended here lol. You really think I would loot you after you gave me a tower deed and a small deed for the spot without a broaker. I thought about that, but tbh, after a few moments, i realized, what can i expect from that ? Nothing...doesnt matter if you say you did it or not. The Starting post was more for finding out what possibly happened and i wanted to know what can i do to avoid that in future. It was not meant as an accusation at someone. i tried to post facts.

The only thing i know, i lost most of my stuff, cause a character is logged into my house. My barrier was intact and the roof was closed. So maybe you can tell me what happened ? Sorry i offended you, but what would you think how you would feel if this happened to you ?
