I'm wondering about this. I noticed once I hit GM resist on this shard, my profession changed to "Grandmaster Mage" (since it was my only skill pointing up). I found this a bit strange, since I was 7xGM on OSI and always displayed "Grandmaster Scholar" (I never once recall my title on my characters changing from anything but "Grandmaster Healer" or "Grandmaster Scholar"). It wasn't possible to change your profession on OSI.. and since we're aiming for era accuracy here, why do we have this custom feature?

pretty sure the skill pointing up thing is era-accurate.

I dont remember this ever working in t2a either. I think it may have been something added later on when they started catering to players, and their need to look cool.

does anyone have evidence for this? I distinctly remember displaying grandmaster stoic as a title, and I never even bought UO:R.
