Not sure if they're supposed to be the same, but I've done like hundreds of MiBs, and never seen a ring either.

I've also done about 40-50 lvl 1 maps, and never seen one there either. I had actually forgotten that they existed until this thread...

And if you guys want rings hit the level 4's in dungeons.

I do only lvl 4's and lots of them, no rings from T-Maps yet.

I've got rings, but they are pretty rare, and rightfully so.

Tangent:

When I was helping make vesper lib, I wanted to make a tmap lib that had a map for every corresponding location.

This dude has the right idea, matching the number with the map you have for a nub is a PIA. After 2 maps (I had never done a map before) I quit for good.

If you keep all your maps and have every location, I bet you could make a pretty sick library.

3/4 of the way there. 150/200 treasure maps, with the copies of the completed maps and runes marked in the same spot in relation to the chests.

Gets harder and harder to get the maps to fill in the gaps of course, but one day I will have the complete set.

Also as a tangent to this tangent and back onto the main topic, I also don't think some jewelry types spawn in treasure map treasure chests. For instance I went and picked a few in dungeons and within 10 or so, got some earrings of Bless. Never have I pulled any bless items from treasure map chests.

Start a thread with a list for the maps you have and their #'s. I wouldnt mind giving you my used maps if it'll help your goal.

Back to the topic of rings, the best way to get them is by picking lvl 4 dungeon chests. By the time you cycle through all 14(approximately) spots you have at least 1 90% of the time, sometimes I have as many as 3 or 4 by the time im done with all the spots.

Any well established rune library follows this map.

edit: rings = lvl 4 and 5

The problem is lockdowns with a rune lib. I think you need at least a keep's lockdowns.

But if you make a thread with the numbers you need, you will get a good response.

I've been a huge treasure hunter for over a year, and I have never gotten a ring out of a lvl 1-4 chest. I've only gotten rings from lvl 5 maps, and this is speaking from doing at least 3000 maps total. You won't get a ring unless you pick dungeon chests or do a lvl 5 treasure map.

That averages out to about 45,000,000 in gold alone. 3000 maps?

I'm pretty sure it's only level 5 tmap chests. Here's one from today on a level 5.

Probably so matron. I know I still haven't gotten any from any level 1s. Probably by design which I am fine with. They should be more rare and harder to get.
