How the hell are you supposed to kill the ancient now? I have a bard and a tank mage, and I cant quite think up a safe strategy. I want a peice of that though, unf unf unf.

whats the mana on one of those beasts? should I keep entering/exiting the level as I drop blades?
Back in the day I used the "dip" to trap it while i let it dump its mana, then I bladed the bitch.
The ancient wyrm is one of the very few creatures here that is intentionally not era accurate. He's quite a bit beefed up and will auto-dispel. The intent is to provide a unique challenge, the loot has been upped accordingly.
All magic casting monsters should auto dispel, but it should eat up their mana and they should eventually run out of mana and shouldnt have any med skill.
Dang Im so sick of seeing these smart mobs, it just makes it easier on Pk's

Unique challenge: yes... I have not figured out how to kill this beast yet..

only way to kill ancient is with about 6 people synching or a tamer

we killed an ancient wyrm with a couple mages healing a dexxer goin at it and eving it in the back
