or what cindrew did a few mini events and you can win time looting the house like a scavenger or riddles and stuff and every correct answer is 30 seconds.

I will restate my event ideas:

Possibly get Derrick to turn decay off on the deed, hide it anywhere in the world

Get Derrick to place it on a random mob of your choice (could even be a lizardman)

Best Idea -> Sell the deed and then make a macro to drop 1k (or 500) gold piles every second and run in circles around WBB. Would be mayhem.

For the first one, you could put it in a bag with 400 stones of hides and drop it on the ground. Item decay is based on weight; something that heavy would last for days, I think.

For the second one... I think you could manipulate a looting monster to grab it, if you really tried. When I go treasure-hunting, I'll often drop my completed map into a corpse to get rid of it. Occasionally, a lich or ogre lord will pick it up. Presumably, if they'd pick up a treasure map, they will pick up a deed. (but make sure it's a fresh corpse, which expires in 7 minutes I think, and just give them like 5 to grab it to be safe. If they don't, make a new corpse and put it on there and try again). Only down side of having it on a mob is that if the mob isn't targeted or dealt damage in 24 hours, it disappears. What you could do is tame a dragon, get it to loot the deed (I know White Wyrms will loot, I think dragons will too), then take it somewhere and release it where there's a low spawn of weak mobs. Released pets will aggro monsters, so it will kill a few of the local mobs every few minutes, keeping it taking damage frequently enough to keep it from disappearing, but not hitting it hard enough to really pose a threat of killing it. East of Britain is a great place for this.

For the third one, that would be cool too. I'd probably do that with 200k and maybe use the other 200k to do the above with a two-story deed. Twice the fun

Funny you mention that, they were my initial choice back when I first attempted to get into a flight school. I couldn't get the financing, so I got a contract with the AF that they would pay for the school after BMT and tech school.

When I got back from tech school, found out Silver State had bellied up due to the owner embezzling the money in a sort of Ponzi-scheme where he was taking part of new student loans to pay for older student training and pocketing some on the side. It caught up with him real quick when he couldn't afford to train the newest students, got busted and had to sell everything to cover some of his bills.

Good thing you didn't have the $$ afterall.

I did alot of research in it when I was itching to fly. They use the R22 and the R44 for training. Those things always looked simple to me to fly.

I think it woudl be simple to fly.....i just wish it had auto land.

congrats on the flight school. i almost became a pilot for the french air force (planes, not helicopter tho) so i understand what you feel

comments on event :

idoc = indeed only a few peeps that scout a lot, or with powerful back up guilds will get the loot
give away event = noobs wont be aware of it because event will be announced on forums / IRC (where they dont go at start)

people are right, giving away dont motivate you to play on long term...

conclusion : share it with your friends, people you liked on the shard during your timeplay and go to brit bank and help some noobs with a few k ingots, regs or gold... they will love it but not too much

heh donate to me a small brick house and I will be happy. I am not looking to get rich, just a small boost with a house would help me.

That was going to be my idea...

Sell it all for an estimated price you see fit, that way if you ever decide to come back, you'll have enough money in the bank to get you off your feet again rather than having to start from scratch

UOSA Jeopardy!

Think of catagories/trivia related to UOSA and UO.

Have three total games (with Jeopardy, Double Jeopardy, and Final Jeopardy...don't forget the daily doubles!). Winner of each game goes on to the championship game. Whoever has most points from championship game wins!!


It's awesome because it's not the same old PvP event over again. And it gives any player who has bothered to learn anything about the shard (new or old) a fair chance.
