UO Second Age

Strangely, I wasn't looking for a place to play, but a place to work. ConnectUO forums through which Derrick contacted me.

and now its at 159 average and is at LEAST 86% accurate as oppose to divinity which is probably about 20%

I joined this shard when it had 5 people. I went through all the exploits and bugs I knew with Derrick. I brought at least 10 people to the shard and stuck with it for a while. You're a complete faggot and stop replying to my posts.

I used google for "UO shards", found GamesitesTop 200, saw Second Age, saw "We have nearly exactly reproduced the OSI T2A experience" and had to visit this site. I read around on the site and what you guys are doing sounded exactly like what I was looking for. When I got home on Monday I connected to your server.

I voted Gamesite 200.

Thanks Derrick and staff for running this thing. I've been enjoying myself quite a lot the last couple days, even though it's hard to be a no-skill newbie again.

A buddy of mine and I played UO:T2A on OSI server back when it came out. For the past few weeks I've been playing on a private RunUO server hosted by my same buddy. That was fun for a while but certainly lacked much of any kind of challenge. So I'm going to give this shard a go for a while and see if I can hang. I'll try to talk my buddy into joining me too.

I was voting for daily bonus on a text based site, and saw T2A on the page and decided to investigate. I instantly got all nostalgic about the game. I started playing when I was seven (UO:R, Chesapeake), because my mom got hooked. Even from the short while that I played (I was a hardcore player for a few months until my mom stopped paying for it). I didn't even know that free servers existed, but I'm extremely excited about it now that I'm here.

My last shard has been abused to the point of taking away archery from warriors - It was based in the first age before any of this surpassingly accurate came in etc.

Looked on a UO topsites trying to find one that doesnt give you 10000000 free items and 4000 skillcap and by chance this was the first one i found where the link to a client worked. (previous one was an all in one installer)

SO here I am - no longer fully maxxed up with GM Characters or a staff account and starting out as a noob again, makes it so much more worthwhile when you have to work for your characters.

I had a big rep on the last shard, i've been on UO radio and had comics dedicated to my antics and all round banter, i'm determined to earn it back on here

The second you start making changes based upon the whining of the people, is when your shard will fall.

In fairness it was a new GM who decided PVP wasnt balanced and thought up some wierd and wonderfull ways of balancing it, taking away archery from warriors was one - on that shard, it was a cruicial component of even having a chance of beating a mage

I found it from a post on wtfman.com even though they dont allow shard advertisements... they are linked with ryan and divinity which got old cuz its not REAL t2a!
