BlackFoot wrote:UOSA HISTORY MUSEUM LOTTERY
Now up and running
This lottery is designed to generate enough money to fund the statues themselves, not as a big generator
Name of the game - Be the one with the key to unlock the chest and you win
The lottery will run for a week at a time
Keys will be sold on the statues of famous UOSA characters
each friday players try their key out to see if its a winner, they can be there in person or simply name the key with their name and hand the key to me before hand and I will test for the winner
The prizes will be random but somthing in the value of 10k, perhaps a nice weapon or two, or a rare item.
Hopfully we can get some players interested in supporting some of the costs associated with the museum. If you have any suggestions please feel free to leave them here. If you are interested and willing to donating a prize item to be given away please contact me.
We are also still looking for any items/trophys/stories of interest to add to the ongoing history of UOSA's museum.
Great idea sir! I believe that if you state the item in the chest beforehand, people may feel more incentive to buy it. As much as I'd like to buy a couple keys, I'd want to know what is in the chest first. Did you also still want me to donate my story from chumbucket's contest?

ANNOUNCEMENT!
Today our brave archeologists have uncovered a true prize!
From the desert sands, dangerously close to the orc fort, we have uncovered an anceint Golden artifact! It is incredibly heavy and took many men to move to its current location at the museum.
We ask everyone to come and admire this one of a kind treasure but be careful, since the artifacts arrival more and more orcs have been spotted near the museum. Hopefully, they are just attracted to the shine.
Come one and all!

After complying with the requirements of the Society for Chivalry and Bardic Arts the Museum has qualified for what may appear to be the last philanthropic act by the society.
We have just received a large donation for the institution and maintenance of the Famous Contributing Players of UOSA statues on display at the museum.
It is a great contribution and just another reason why the founder of this great organization will forever be remembered in statue form at the museum!
Thanks

The point of a museum is to showcase rares over the time the server has been created...
not to have the admin's create a bunch of items to put in there with no story behind them/no player can ever obtain
