P.S. This server has grown drastically to numbers of 800+ on average..If you expect to not see a large increase in pk's as well then you need a reality check. I think it's time some of you (especially solo dexxers and newer players) who are trying to hunt, to start rolling in larger packs. When we run in and CONSISTENTLY find solo hunters over and over and over it's honestly like stealing candy from a baby. What chance does a single dexxer/bard/tamer (with 2 dragons) have against two pk's who are very good at what they do?

Too much independence is the problem...not the pk's.

lol wtf are talking about if the blues started traveling in packs of ten then the pks would just travel in groups of 20.

Not to de-rail your complains here, but we did kill you (and your 2 (?) dragons) in cove gazers, and got 7800 gold from you. I was talking to clyde just after we recalled out, and the first thing I said was, "why does he only have 2 dragons, I wouldn't of even bothered going in there if he had 4 or more.."

The real solution is understanding how being a stat-loss pk works. If there is a greater loss at risk for us than there is to benefit by killing you, we'll bounce out. Your measly 8000 gold doesn't compare to the -20.0 all skills I take if I die, and doesn't even buy the regs required to train back up.

To skip to the point, GK, you're a tamer, you should have at least 4 dragons with you if you're going to solo-farm, especially in such a high-traffic area such as Covetous Gazers.

Just my .02$, coming from the most active pk here. Also, to note, the spot we killed you is the only place I have ever died on Total Darkness, and it was dragons fire-breath I died too, after being archer-turreted.

You were just under-manned, that's why we came in. 2 Dragons won't stop me and clyde, not when we can cross-heal the damage. Also, I don't think you have wrestling, I would substitute hiding for wrestling asap.

This dont work me and stanger tried to farm with him having 30 dragons there and it ended up with 30 dragons vs 12 reds casting ev's and trying to gank us down it was like every 2 mins 2 or 3 more reds would show up to kill whoever was there and join up with the other reds and dragons dont listen every time to ever command and theres a lot of shit the can get stuck on in a dungeon.

If you can't beat people with 30 dragons maybe it's time to accept that you aren't very good at this game.

or maybe the reds didnt attack the tamer cause he had all guard me on and they attacked me and all kill does not work they kept casting ev he had to sick em on the reds 1 at a time and there on horses so they get away in 2 seconds

I agree, but I don't think you've pulled out vanqs from those chests, if you did it must have been a fluke

Actually, I've pulled out a near-perfect Vanq Q-Staff and 2 Vanq Heavy X-Bows out of monster camp chests. Mind you I've opened a load more of them that had utter rubbish, but vanqs do seem to spawn on those chests. And yes, I didn't believe it the first time it happened, I fully expected it to be another q-staff of ruin. IDed it twice just to make sure it wasn't some weird bug. I've even pulled out a few reasonable silver weapons from those wee chests so they are definately worth checking out, especially if you are starting out and given that they are pretty much just free loot for the taking.
