Very Odd- Item Loss

Post by Hydroxide »

Okay I know you guys will probably say I am mistaken about this, but I am 100% sure about what happened....

Before logging off last night I put on a plate helmet, arms, and chest of hardening to see how much armor it would give me. I then logged off with the items still on my paperdoll.

I logged in thismorning and the plate chest is nowhere to be found, not in my bank, pack, or not on my character like it was when I logged out.

What the hell happened to it?? It just disappeared.........

Subject: Patch 50 - August 2, 2008: Clothing AR and Armor Layers
Derrick wrote: Because of the layer changes for armor that may have been being worn at the time the layers changed, some players may have trouble dressing themselves as some clothing using the same layers due to the change may become invisible. If you suspect this has happened, Undress yourself and then log out and log back in. Then redress normally. If you have this problem, you will only need to do this once to correct it.
This was also in the MOTD this morning.

Just undress, log out, and log back in.

Thanks, I logged back in and my platemail was on my chest at the same time as a GM made leather tunic.... I should have left both on and went out to hunt- extra armor!

(actually I didn't check if both things contributed to my armor before i took the plate off, oh well)
