Can someone please tell me what happened last night that caused archery to hit and damage rates to drop 1/3? ive been playing for a very long time and i assure you it isnt just me. i often kill daemons and balrons and to give an example after killing a daemon there is usually between 10-15 arrows left on the body. now there's about 35-40 and it takes me 3 times longer to kill them. again its not me so i dont need someone explaining archery to me. ive had and used an archer for over a year on this server. please only respond if you actually know something about this.

It is taking FOREVER to kill by barding now also. So you're not alone zweeb, I think the only ones not affected by this patch are mages.

I thought these "AR" bonuses only affected PCs seeing as most monsters don't actually wear armor.

I take that back, BSs aren't doing anywhere near the damage they were once before...this doesn't feel right.

This is getting off topic (I think) for this thread, but it's possible the correction to armor has revealed a previously proposed stats inaccuracy with Blade Spirits and EV's.

I am assuming some creatures have natural AR far superior to humans...you think?

In looking into both blade spirits and evergy vortexes, it's been disovered that they should not miss. I hoped to get this fixed tonight but it's not going to be complete. Look for this to be fixed very soon.

Just logged in with my dex q-staff macer and noticed a considerable drop in damage done. Taking about 3 times the time to down basic enemies like Ogres and Orcs.

Think this might be related.

It does seem drastic too me too, but it doesn't seem to have effected all creatures.

Demons/Trolls/Ogres/Ettins/Serpents seem to have gotten a HUGE bump...

Yeah actually ive noticed that archery still isnt what it was before the bug. took me more than twice as many arrows to take down a balron.... and believe me they took a lot of arrows before. im not sure but i wonder if maybe after things were restarted if that included the changes made back in an old thread i started months ago in

just a thought.

Could also be related to what was said about certain creatures having major increases in AR and or evade.
